From fighting forest fires to building custom crates FOR ARTISTS, my journey has been a fun one.
After high school, I worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a firefighter in the Sierra Nevadas and later became a Horseshoe Meadow Hotshot at Hume Lake. One of my most crazy experiences was when i was working out of the Peppermint Heliport. I was was taken my heli way back in the mountains and dropped off to cut fire line around this Giant Sequoias. that night I witnessed the raw power of nature as lightning spiraled down the tree like a fiery serpent and exploded at the bottom, sending sparks flying everywhere! That was crazy and I'll never forget it.
I LEARNED ALL ABOUT trees and lumber DURING THOSE YEARS- i s carry all of those learned lessons with me.

After a few years, I became a mom (YAY!) and worked various retail jobs, managing Inside and Outside Garden at Home Depot and Lowes. I drove a forklift every day for ten years, which taught me a lot about pallets and crates. I observed how doors and windows were shipped on an "A Frame" style skid pallet and how careless forklift drivers could damage merchandise or even drop full pallets. That's why I paint my crates with attention-grabbing colors and designs - to slow them down just enough so your items are safe.

I've always been inquisitive and observant, and all those little details I picked up over the years have come in handy now that I'm building and shipping crates for amazing people like you. About five years ago, while working at a Postal Annex in Long Beach, I watched my employer struggle to build crates with poor tools. i grew up around tools. LOVE TOOLS! i knew every tool that was at Lowes and what they were used for! I knew every screw...lol so, When he asked for advice, I jumped at the chance and offered to build the next one myself. And that's how it all started.

My first attempts weren't pretty, but they were strong and sturdy, and they got the job done. Since then, I've honed my craft, and my custom crates are designed to withstand even the toughest shipping conditions to protect your valuable artwork or belongings during transit.They're made from high-quality materials, with reinforced corners, AND I USE SCREWS TO PUT THEM TOGETHER, SO THEY ARE EASY TO OPEN.

I believe that all the experiences I've had in my life have weirdly prepared me for this. i love what i do. i DIG MY CUSTOMERS! i AM BIG ON COMMUNICATION!
